Lone Star Reserve Records is proud to announce the release of steel guitar phenom Jack Phillips first solo steel record, “Cooks in the Kitchen, Vol. 1.” Jack shares the fronting duties in the “Cooks in the Kitchen” project with guitarist Cameron Baker. Together, they lay down blazing hot, finger melting jazz lines, while maintaining a bluesy sense of cool.

Following in the footsteps of his hero Buddy Emmons, Jack brings a fresh perspective and charismatic creativity to the pedal steel guitar. “Cooks in the Kitchen, Vol. 1” is only the beginning of the voyage for this immensely talented musician and his collaborators.
